The placement sits within Group Internal Audit, the division that uniquely monitors the whole bank and reports directly to the Board, giving interns a panoramic view of a global financial institution. During the programme you will explore how the various business units of UBS operate, pinpoint risk factors, and test the effectiveness of control mechanisms. The role involves applying data analysis, technology tools and critical reasoning to evaluate exposures, challenge prevailing assumptions and support the firm's resilience. You will also summarise findings, pose insightful questions and share observations with senior staff, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, international environment. Candidates must have finished at least four semesters of a bachelor's programme and be no more than twelve months out from graduation, holding a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law or a closely related discipline. A Swiss‑grade GPA of 4.5 or higher is required, together with fluent English and strong written and oral communication abilities.
