P2617 - Senior Clinical Data Manager

Debiopharm is a privately‑owned Swiss biopharmaceutical company that focuses on developing therapies for cancer and infectious diseases. The firm operates a “development only” model that aims to bring promising treatments to patients more quickly. As a Senior Clinical Data Manager you will join the Biostatistics and Data Management team at the Lausanne headquarters, taking responsibility for the quality and timing of data‑management work across assigned clinical studies. In this role you will steer all clinical data‑management activities, from designing electronic case‑report forms and configuring electronic data‑capture systems to conducting user‑acceptance testing and releasing databases. You will perform data reviews, generate queries, apply coding, and ensure that data from internal and external sources are captured promptly. Planning and monitoring study timelines, drafting and reviewing data‑management and validation plans in line with GCP, SOPs and regulatory expectations, and overseeing database lock, transfer and archiving are also central tasks. Collaboration with clinical trial managers and other stakeholders in a matrix setting is essential. The position requires a scientific or technical university background and at least ten years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical industry, covering Phase 1‑3 studies. Candidates must have a proven record of leading data‑management projects and teams, strong competence with multiple EDC platforms, and the ability to automate processes using AI tools. Fluency in English is mandatory, while French knowledge is considered a distinct advantage. Excellent organisational, planning, proactive and communication skills, together with a tech‑savvy mindset, are also required. Additional assets include a project‑management certification, prior project‑management experience, and familiarity with AI‑driven automation.
