Test Technician (m/w/x)

Liebherr Machines Bulle SA, a specialist in component technologies, is looking for a Test Technician (m/w/x) to join its production team in Bulle, Switzerland. The position supports the development and testing of diesel and gas engines, acting as the bridge between test engineers and the workshop during engine assembly and disassembly. On a daily basis you will prepare assembly requests for development engines, organise the required datasets, metrology and instrumentation, and ensure that all tasks defined for assembly and disassembly are carried out correctly. You will operate measurement tools such as borescopes and torque wrenches, manage the engine bill of material throughout its life cycle, and run test programs on engine benches. After each test you will analyse the data, draft detailed reports, describe any mechanical failures and assist in finding solutions. The role also includes handling logistics for moving, storing, shipping or scrapping parts and contributing ideas to improve workflows, test procedures and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate holds a mechanical training focused on heavy‑duty engines, a technician qualification, or an equivalent background. Proven experience in engine development and work with combustion engines is required. You must be fluent in French and possess solid English communication skills. A good understanding of measuring technology, testing methods, and advanced post‑processing as well as ERP systems is essential. Experience in a workshop environment or on test benches is considered a plus but not mandatory.
