Manager, Accounting & Reporting

The Manager, Accounting & Reporting, Revenue leads a high‑performing team that owns the full revenue‑accounting cycle, guarantees adherence to IFRS 15 and Alcon's internal policies, and sustains a SOX‑compliant control environment while delivering timely, accurate financial results. Each day the manager oversees revenue accounting, reviews customer contracts to confirm proper revenue recognition and balance‑sheet treatment, and drives the month‑end close for all revenue‑related items, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis. The role validates revenue data in consolidation and management reporting systems, monitors data quality, and works with cross‑functional partners to resolve discrepancies. In addition, the manager maintains internal controls, supports internal and external audits, and leads process‑improvement projects that increase automation, standardisation and reporting speed. The position requires a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, solid accounting and reporting experience within multinational organisations, and proven exposure to both SOX regulations and IFRS standards. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of IFRS and financial‑reporting principles, a strong grasp of revenue processes and internal controls, and hands‑on experience with SAP.
