As a Technical Project Manager (SAP environment) at Axpo, you will help shape the future of the company’s SAP ecosystem, acting as a strategic technical and operational leader for a business that delivers energy solutions across Europe. The role blends deep technical knowledge with strong project‑management capabilities, focusing on both transformational initiatives and day‑to‑day operational excellence. Your daily work will involve taking responsibility for the infrastructure of SAP systems that run on RISE as well as those hosted internally. You will serve as the primary technical liaison for network and cloud connectivity, handling firewall settings, certificate management and DNS configuration. Leading cross‑functional infrastructure projects such as migrations, integrations, system upgrades and cloud transitions will be a core part of the job, together with incident management, health monitoring and ensuring security and performance across all SAP layers. Close collaboration with the SAP Basis team and regular interaction with Network, Cloud, Security, Identity and Workplace groups will be essential, as will driving automation and efficiency improvements. The position requires at least seven years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration or technical project management, plus proven expertise in managing on‑premises and cloud environments like Azure. A solid understanding of SAP operations—including RISE and Basis administration—is mandatory, as is proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or shell scripts. Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and work in regulated industries is expected, along with fluency in German and English and a valid Swiss PSP certification or willingness to obtain one.
