Linux/Ubuntu Ai Trainer - Remote

The position of Linux/Ubuntu AI Trainer is a contract role offered by a rapidly expanding AI data services firm that supplies training datasets to leading artificial‑intelligence developers worldwide. Work is performed remotely on an hourly basis, and the assignment is suited to students, junior professionals, or any tech‑savvy individual who can dedicate roughly fifteen hours each week from a personal Ubuntu or other Linux computer. Day‑to‑day duties involve installing the software packages specified for each project, recording the steps taken, and carrying out a series of structured, detail‑heavy tasks. You will carefully apply written instructions, verify your output for errors before submission, and flag any inconsistencies, unclear guidance, or technical glitches that arise. Maintaining concentration during repetitive work, meeting the weekly time commitment, and communicating any needed assistance to the project team are also essential parts of the job. The ideal candidate must own a Linux‑based workstation, be comfortable setting up required applications independently, and possess solid basic computer skills, especially with browser‑based tools. Reliability, responsiveness, and a meticulous, patient approach are required, as is the ability to follow written directions precisely. Prior exposure to AI data annotation, quality assurance, software testing, or research tasks is advantageous but not mandatory, making the role accessible to newcomers eager to contribute to the improvement of AI models.
