Software Engineer - Oracle Cloud ERP & SAP Concur

The organization is looking for a Software Engineer who will serve as the technical lead for its Oracle Cloud ERP and SAP Concur platforms, ensuring those systems run smoothly and evolve through continuous delivery. The role blends configuration work, integration development, and production support while collaborating with business analysts and other IT groups and adhering to internal service‑management, risk‑management and compliance standards. Day‑to‑day duties include steering the setup and upkeep of Oracle Cloud ERP components such as Identity and Access Management, Business Process Management and Universal Content Management, as well as handling one‑off bulk data loads with validation and error correction. The engineer will also configure SAP Concur workflows, policies and audit rules, build and maintain integrations to HR, payment and reporting solutions, and troubleshoot performance or scheduling issues. Supporting testing cycles, quarterly Oracle updates, and production roll‑outs in line with change‑ and release‑management procedures forms part of the routine, together with incident handling, root‑cause analysis, preventive improvements and keeping technical documentation current. Candidates must have hands‑on, mid‑level experience in enterprise application engineering or support, proven ability to configure Oracle Cloud ERP (IAM, BPM, UCM) and SAP Concur, and a track record of developing and debugging integrations via APIs, web services, file interfaces or integration platforms. Familiarity with bulk data loading, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, experience in testing, vendor updates and deployments, and a working knowledge of IT service‑management processes are required. Clear communication, documentation ability and ownership of technical issues are also essential. Preferred qualifications include exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud or similar tools, understanding of finance, expense‑management and payment workflows, and prior work in environments governed by formal IT controls and audit requirements.
