DevOPS Engineer

DuoKey is seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure their services are reliable, scalable, and efficient. The company specializes in key management and encryption solutions for enterprise cloud platforms, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Google, and AWS. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve developing, scaling, and maintaining infrastructure using automation and configuration management tools. The engineer will collaborate with development and security teams to design and implement robust, scalable services. Monitoring service health, responding to incidents, and ensuring high availability and performance are also key tasks. Additionally, the role includes implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, conducting post-incident reviews, and optimizing system performance through capacity planning. To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A solid understanding of the security landscape, including cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response, is essential. Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and scripting languages like Python and Bash is required. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is also necessary. Knowledge of configuration management tools (Terraform, Helm charts) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, IaC) is crucial. Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks like ISO 27001 and GDPR is a must. Additionally, familiarity with continuous integration and deployment methodologies and a problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and availability are required. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment with supportive colleagues. The role is based in Mauritius, and only candidates currently residing in Mauritius will be considered. The company offers flexible working conditions, including a Work From Home (WFH) allowance to support remote working needs, along with a monthly allowance for electricity and internet expenses.
