Internship Heat Pump Tool Development 2 (m/f/x)

Everllence, a global engineering firm with more than 250 years of experience, helps customers in marine, energy and industrial sectors move toward carbon‑neutral solutions. The company, headquartered in Germany and employing around 15,000 people worldwide, offers an internship in Zurich West focused on developing a heat‑pump analysis tool. As an intern you will support the creation of software that models heat‑pump performance, applying your knowledge of thermodynamics and using Python as the primary programming language. The role involves translating engineering concepts into code, testing calculations, and potentially contributing to a web interface, especially if you have familiarity with Angular. The work is carried out within a collaborative team that values an informal “you” culture and open communication. The position requires you to be a current student in mechanical, energy, process, chemical engineering or computer science, having already finished a bachelor’s degree and planning to start a master’s program. Strong Python programming skills are essential, and a solid foundation in thermodynamic modelling is highly desirable. Experience with Angular is considered an advantage but not mandatory. The internship benefits from a prime Zurich location, flexible working hours, nearby dining options, occupational health services, employee discounts and modern social benefits. Applications are accepted only through the online “Apply now” button, and the company encourages candidates with disabilities to apply.
