The position of Electronics Engineer at Destinus involves creating the avionics that power advanced unmanned aerial vehicles used by defense agencies worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for conceiving, building and validating flight‑critical electronic hardware, handling everything from schematic capture and PCB layout to producing manufacturing documentation. You will manage the full hardware lifecycle, coordinate with mechanical, guidance‑navigation‑control and system groups, run automated test benches on Linux, and support integration, diagnostics, and flight‑test activities. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, aerospace or computer engineering, plus at least two years of practical experience with avionics or complex hardware. Proficiency in Altium for PCB design, scripting in Python, C/C++ or Bash on Linux, and familiarity with embedded C/C++ on microcontrollers such as STM32 are required. Competence with lab equipment, serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, CAN, UART) and strong troubleshooting abilities are essential, as is a highly organized, detail‑focused mindset and clear communication in a fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary setting. The role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge UAV technology within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values innovation and hands‑on problem solving.
