Finance and Controlling Manager - Single Family Office (Zug / Zurich)

The role is a Finance and Controlling Manager for a Single Family Office. The company manages a diverse portfolio of financial investments, operating companies, and real estate across multiple jurisdictions. They work with external advisors, banks, and service providers, emphasizing precision, discretion, and long-term thinking. The main day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing accounting across multiple entities, coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and service providers, and preparing and analyzing financial reports. The role also involves monitoring shareholder loans and financing arrangements, preparing regular reporting on investments and assets, and maintaining consolidated asset and liquidity reporting. Additionally, the position requires overseeing bank accounts, preparing and reviewing payments, and supporting liquidity planning. The role also includes supporting budgeting and cost monitoring, tracking cash flows and financial obligations, and maintaining structured overviews of investments, loans, and corporate entities. The role also involves liaising with tax advisors, legal counsel, and banks, and preparing documentation for tax and compliance matters. The must-have requirements include a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3-8 years of relevant experience in areas such as accounting, controlling, audit/transaction services, trust or fiduciary services, family office, or asset management. Experience with investment structures, financial instruments, or liquidity management is also required. Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis, and a hands-on personality who takes ownership across the full range of tasks are essential. The role requires full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Nice-to-have skills include a working knowledge of German. The role is based in Zug or Zurich and offers a full-time, in-person position with a lean structure, short decision paths, and no corporate bureaucracy.
