Bramble Ski, part of Le Collectionist, creates ultra‑luxury alpine holidays in top ski destinations such as the French Alps, Switzerland and Austria. The company curates exclusive chalets and offers highly personalised services, ranging from private chefs to ski instructors and helicopter transfers. The temporary role of Bramble Ski Private Chef in Verbier is centred on delivering restaurant‑quality cuisine that becomes a core element of the guest experience throughout a 43‑hour weekly contract running from 27 November 2026 to 18 April 2027. Each day the chef is expected to handle all core kitchen duties, preparing breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and refined evening meals to a high culinary standard. When agreed with resort or central management, the chef may also produce additional dishes such as lunches or late‑night snacks. Menu planning is collaborative, with seasonal options discussed with guests and adjusted for dietary needs, preferences and allergen restrictions. The chef oversees the full food preparation chain, from sourcing ingredients to cooking, plating and final presentation, ensuring every plate reflects the luxury ski setting. Beyond cooking, the chef manages ordering and shopping using approved suppliers, maintains professional supplier relationships, and respects company policies that prohibit personal acceptance of discounts or commissions. Kitchen hygiene and safety are paramount: all work areas, equipment and surfaces must be spotless after each service, and strict food‑safety, storage and handling procedures must be followed in line with legal standards. The role also includes budgeting responsibilities, accurate accounting, regular stocktakes and inventory checks, as well as sourcing additional items only through authorised channels. Supporting the Chalet Manager, the chef assists with chalet turnover days, greets guests on arrival and departure, and may perform basic property maintenance tasks when needed. The position operates under Austrian labour law and relevant collective agreements, with rotating schedules communicated at least a week in advance. Working on Saturdays and Sundays is possible, especially during peak season, and any overtime is compensated according to legal requirements. The chef may be called upon to help with Haute Montagne bookings, including breakfast service, or to provide short‑term cover for other Bramble Ski or Haute Montagne operations in Austria, France and Switzerland. What the role asks for: - 43‑hour weekly contract (27 Nov 2026 – 18 Apr 2027) - Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays during high season - Compliance with Austrian labour law and collective agreements - Attendance at all staff briefings and operational meetings - Adherence to food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations - Management of food ordering, supplier relationships and budgets - Nice‑to‑have: support Haute Montagne bookings, including breakfast service - Nice‑to‑have: provide short‑term cover in Austria, France, Switzerland
