Global Sourcing Manager - Growth Tech

AB InBev’s Global Procurement Office is looking for a Global Sourcing Manager – Growth Tech to join its Indirects Category team in Zug, Switzerland. The position sits within a function that oversees more than USD 500 million of annual spend on key business and professional services, and reports to the Global Category Director BST while interacting regularly with senior leaders across the enterprise. In this role you will help meet the company’s cost‑reduction and cash‑flow objectives by shaping sourcing strategies for priority services and applying AB InBev’s eight‑step methodology. Daily tasks include negotiating global supplier contracts, managing supplier relationships from start‑ups to Fortune 500 firms, owning zero‑based budgeting policies, and supporting senior directors, VPs and chiefs with balanced decisions on price, quality and timing. You will also use data and analytics to build benchmarks, design the annual Champions workshop that spreads best‑practice savings, pilot ESG and innovation initiatives, and mentor regional buyers and analysts. The role requires a university degree—preferably in engineering, business, economics, supply chain or a related discipline—and four to eight years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing or management consulting. Candidates must be comfortable with quantitative analysis, possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and be able to translate data into clear business cases for leadership. Professional fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus. A rapid learning ability, bias for action, strong cross‑functional relationship building and a sense of ownership are essential. Beneficial attributes include familiarity with indirect categories such as facilities management, fleet, real estate and utilities, as well as experience driving ESG or disruptive sourcing projects. The position offers exposure to a global network of buyers across six zones, frequent interaction with senior executives, and the chance to influence sourcing standards worldwide while based in the vibrant business hub of Zug.
