Director - Procurement Transformation

KPMG is looking for a Director to steer procurement transformation projects from its Zurich office. As part of a global firm that blends audit, advisory and ESG expertise, the role will help clients redesign their procurement operating models and adopt modern technology stacks. The day‑to‑day work involves taking charge of engagements that reshape procurement structures, from redesigning end‑to‑end processes such as sourcing, spend analysis, contract and invoice handling to advising on the selection and rollout of digital platforms. The director will also guide cross‑functional streams inside larger change programmes, support bid preparation for new assignments, and nurture relationships with senior procurement leaders across client organisations. Candidates must bring more than nine years of consulting experience in procurement, with a solid track record of redesigning target operating models, benchmarking KPIs, building shared service centres and managing outsourcing or governance initiatives. Familiarity with leading solutions like SAP Ariba, Coupa or Ivalua is required, as is a strong network among Swiss‑based or Swiss‑headquartered companies. Proven business‑development success, the ability to lead and grow a team of sourcing experts, and excellent communication skills in English are essential; German is highly valued and French is a plus.
