INTERN (M/F/D) PRODUCT INNOVATION AND QUALITY CONTROL

FenX, a spin-off from ETH Zurich, focuses on addressing global energy and greenhouse gas challenges through innovative building insulation solutions. The company's first product is a high-performance, cost-effective, and eco-friendly insulation panel made from mineral waste materials. FenX is seeking a motivated intern to support their Technical Team in product innovation and quality control. The intern will be involved in various tasks, including the co-development of porous minerals and the production of prototypes. They will also handle the transfer of R&D formulations to the prototyping plant, material characterization, and support in material certification. Additionally, the intern will plan and improve prototype production processes, operate and maintain the prototyping line, and assist the technical team with other tasks as needed. To excel in this role, candidates must have a BSc in materials science, mechanical, civil engineering, or a related field. A hands-on attitude, technical understanding, and systematic problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, reliable, and proficient in English, with German being a plus.
