Packaging Regulatory Manager

Bacardi is looking for a Packaging Regulatory Manager to safeguard the company’s global packaging compliance. The role sits within a worldwide team that monitors legal requirements, closes gaps and guides suppliers and internal projects to meet evolving standards across key markets such as the EU, the United Kingdom, the United States and India. Each day the manager will evaluate regulatory demands, produce and standardise the technical files needed for reporting and client queries, and translate new legislation into clear guidance for product development and label decisions. The position also involves representing Bacardi in industry bodies, influencing discussions and protecting the brand’s reputation on regulatory matters. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in a discipline such as packaging engineering, materials science, chemistry or regulatory affairs, and brings five to ten years of hands‑on experience in packaging regulatory compliance, development or sustainability within a heavily regulated sector. Proven ability to interpret complex legal texts, assess risk, devise mitigation strategies and communicate effectively across diverse functions and seniority levels is essential. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, while proficiency in Spanish or French adds value. Additional assets include an advanced qualification, familiarity with packaging data platforms and regulatory monitoring tools, and a solid grasp of material types, supply‑chain dynamics and sustainability reporting frameworks such as EPR, PPWR and REACH.
