The main responsibilities include overseeing the cleanliness and quality of all guest rooms and public areas, as well as staff accommodations. This role involves leading an international team of approximately 24 employees, conducting training sessions, managing staff schedules, and participating in the recruitment process. The manager also handles inventory, purchasing of hotel linen and uniforms, and coordinates the laundry process with the sister hotel, Kulm. Additionally, the role requires daily communication with various departments to ensure smooth operations. To excel in this position, candidates must have completed vocational training in the hotel industry, such as a Hotel Management Specialist qualification, or a professional qualification in Housekeeping Management. Several years of management experience in housekeeping, preferably in the 5-star hotel industry, are essential. Fluency in German or English is a must, with knowledge of Italian and/or Portuguese being advantageous. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, strong business acumen, excellent organisational skills, and absolute discretion.
