Senior Consultant - People Advisory Services - Payroll (Geneva)

EY’s People Advisory Services team in Geneva is seeking a senior consultant to strengthen its payroll practice. As a market‑leading tax services provider, EY helps globally active clients optimise their business and legal structures, and this role joins the specialised Tax Payroll unit that delivers daily project work for a diverse client base. The consultant will assist both domestic and international customers with payroll and personnel administration, manage payroll accounting and act as the liaison with clients, tax authorities and social‑security bodies. They will also coordinate with near‑shore and off‑shore colleagues to ensure monthly payroll cycles are completed, contribute to client acquisition efforts and networking locally, and become involved in internal and external projects from the outset, gaining exposure to many sectors and corporate functions. Applicants must hold a recognised diploma or certificate in payroll, or be a social‑security specialist or expert, and possess solid experience in wage processing. Fluency in English is required, while German or French is a plus. The role calls for strong analytical abilities, methodical rigor, and a collaborative mindset geared toward long‑term team commitment. Familiarity with MS Office and, optionally, ABACUS or SAP adds value, as does an entrepreneurial attitude and confident presence.
