PwC’s General Consulting practice is looking for a Director to steer its Cybersecurity Technology & Transformation offering. The role sits within a global advisory team that assists some of the world’s biggest, most intricate organisations in turning risk, regulation and data challenges into competitive advantage. You will help shape strategy, unlock data potential and align security investments with business goals for clients in manufacturing, pharma and industrial products. In this position you will head a worldwide delivery crew, tackling end‑to‑end cyber‑security problems from strategic planning through to hands‑on execution. Your day will involve spotting market gaps, crafting new value propositions and scaling efficient ways of working across many projects. You will nurture an environment where people and technology succeed together, build and maintain strategic client relationships, and lead large‑scale transformation programmes covering supply‑chain security, OT, identity‑and‑access management and managed services. Advising clients on target operating models for IT‑OT convergence and assembling high‑performing teams are also core duties. The role requires at least ten years of experience inside manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial‑products settings, together with a solid background in global cyber‑security functions such as OT security, supply‑chain protection, IAM, vulnerability management or incident response. Proven leadership in multicultural environments, strong business‑development or strategic‑account expertise, and a track record of solving complex problems analytically are essential. You must have led diverse, cross‑functional teams, stay abreast of the latest security and OT technology trends, and be able to design and pitch prototypes or proofs of concept. Excellent written and verbal communication, persuasive influence with technical and business leaders, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer‑science discipline are mandatory, as is fluency in English. PwC offers a fast‑growing, globally connected team where innovation is encouraged and career progression is supported. The position includes visa sponsorship and requires government security clearance, reflecting the high‑impact nature of the work. While German or French language skills are not compulsory, they are valued. Prior security‑consulting experience, familiarity with standards such as IEC‑62243/ISA‑99 or NIST, and certifications like CISSP, GICSP, GRID or GCIP are considered advantageous. What the role asks for: - Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing, pharma or industrial products - Experience with global cybersecurity functions (e.g., OT, supply chain, IAM) - Leadership ability to build and scale multicultural teams - Proven business development or strategic account management experience - Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities - Experience leading diverse, cross‑functional teams - Deep knowledge of current security, OT and manufacturing tech trends - Ability to design and pitch prototypes or proof‑of‑concepts - Excellent communication and influencing skills with business stakeholders - Track record of delivering innovative security solutions and outcomes - Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field - Fluent English; German or French language skills are a plus - Eligible for work‑visa sponsorship - Government security clearance required - Prior security consulting experience (nice‑to‑have) - Knowledge of IEC‑62243/ISA‑99 or NIST frameworks (nice‑to‑have) - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP (nice‑to‑have)
