The Business Application Support Specialist, Finance (80‑100 %) joins this environment to help keep the bank's finance‑related applications stable, available and performant. In this role you will be the first point of contact for functional support issues affecting finance and accounting systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving incidents, documenting release notes, monitoring key performance indicators to meet service‑level agreements, and escalating major problems to the incident‑management team. You will also organise regular meetings with internal bank partners, track ticket backlogs, analyse balance‑sheet data in SAP, deliver user training, and take part in testing new application releases while working closely with development and production teams. The position requires a master's degree in IT or Finance and at least five years of banking experience. Strong communication and overall soft‑skill abilities, a proactive attitude and the capacity to handle unplanned, high‑pressure situations are essential. You must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, possess a solid grasp of accounting principles and be prepared to live in Switzerland or relocate there. Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Auditor in the banking sector and knowledge of SAP BI are considered advantageous.
