Global Principal Clinical Scientist - Cardiorenal

The organization is a biotechnology and pharmaceutical group that seeks a Global Principal Clinical Scientist – Cardiorenal to shape its scientific direction across therapeutic domains. The role sits at the intersection of research and product advancement, guiding the scientific underpinnings of clinical programs while ensuring compliance and quality. Each day the incumbent will supply scientific counsel for development plans, help craft trial designs and related documentation, and supervise the scientific conduct of studies. Responsibilities also include steering the creation of a comprehensive clinical development program, writing and critically reviewing study reports, submission dossiers, manuscripts and abstract content, and mentoring project teams. Close partnership with other functional groups is expected to refine cross‑departmental workflows and support the overall clinical strategy. The position requires a bachelor‑level education in a scientific, health‑related, or engineering discipline, coupled with more than eight years of experience in the biotech or pharma sector and at least five years of project leadership. Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of the drug development lifecycle, covering manufacturing, non‑clinical work, clinical execution and regulatory affairs. The job is based in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, with a requirement to be on‑site three days a week, offering the chance to work within a collaborative, internationally focused team in a well‑connected location.
