The company is a leading provider of online trading and banking services, and the role involves developing and maintaining regulatory reporting processes to support the company's growth and compliance with Swiss regulatory bodies. The main responsibilities of the role include leading regulatory reporting initiatives, driving process improvements, and ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting to the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). This involves optimizing processes, automating tasks, and developing a centralized regulatory database. The specialist will also implement a new regulatory reporting solution across the organization, collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless system integration and data quality, and monitor regulatory developments to adapt reporting processes accordingly. Additionally, the role includes preparing, reviewing, and submitting regulatory reports, performing data quality checks, and acting as the primary point of contact for SNB inquiries and audits. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. They should have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of the Swiss Banking regulatory framework. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required, while experience with T24, SQL, and Python is advantageous. Experience with a regulatory reporting solution such as FiRE or Mercury is also beneficial. Full professional proficiency in both French and English, both written and spoken, is essential. Nice-to-have skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data quality. The role requires a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
