Account Manager MDX (Clinical) – Western Switzerland (m/f/d)

QIAGEN, a global leader in life‑science and healthcare technologies, seeks an Account Manager for its Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) division in Western Switzerland. The position focuses on expanding the company’s clinical diagnostics footprint by serving private labs, hospitals and university medical centers, while reinforcing QIAGEN’s reputation as a trusted partner in the sector. In this role you will own the Western Switzerland territory for MDx solutions, nurture long‑term relationships with laboratory and clinical customers, and uncover fresh business prospects. Daily activities include delivering scientific and commercial product presentations, advising clients, shaping regional sales plans to meet targets, and collaborating closely with marketing, application and other internal teams. Keeping an eye on market dynamics and competitor moves also forms part of the routine. Candidates must hold a degree or vocational qualification in life sciences, diagnostics or a related biology field, and have some sales experience, preferably within molecular or clinical diagnostics. A solid grasp of laboratory and clinical needs, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and an independent, structured, goal‑driven work style are essential. The role requires willingness to travel across Western Switzerland and fluency in French and German, complemented by good English proficiency.
