The role of Senior Supplier Quality Development Specialist is crucial for the Audi Revolut F1® Team, the official factory team of Audi as it enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2026. The team operates from three key locations: Neuburg, Germany, for power unit development; Hinwil, Switzerland, for chassis engineering and race operations; and Bicester, United Kingdom, for strategic partnerships and talent access. The main day-to-day responsibilities include active supplier development to ensure high-quality standards, establishing a stable network with key suppliers, and conducting supplier audits based on defined standards. The role also involves negotiating quality agreements, identifying opportunities for process optimization, and monitoring supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, lead time, defect rate, and corrective actions. Additionally, the position requires supporting problem-solving efforts, analyzing quality data, and preparing reports on supplier performance. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Substantial professional experience as a quality specialist in supplier quality is essential. Proficiency in using data analysis tools, particularly Power BI, is required. Fluency in English and German is mandatory. Successful completion of auditor training is an advantage. Nice-to-have skills include strong assertiveness and a highly solution-oriented approach.
