The role of a Senior Consultant, Risk and Controls Transformations at Deloitte involves driving the progress of controls transformation. Additionally, the role includes supporting clients in transforming their internal controls framework while ensuring compliance, leading projects from scoping to delivery, and managing risk and quality. The consultant will also support go-to-market initiatives and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop new market offerings and advance existing ones. Leading, inspiring, and coaching the team is also a key part of the role. To excel in this role, candidates must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build good relationships with clients. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in delivering risk and internal controls transformation or audit projects is required. Candidates should have a good understanding of main finance business processes and technologies, and how to leverage new ERP and other digital technology functionalities for compliance and internal controls purposes. Fluency in English is essential, with German being highly advantageous. Familiarity with SAP, the usage of AI for controls, and experience with GRC tools is advantageous. In-depth experience in internal controls design, remediation, and implementation is also required. The role is based in Zurich and offers an 80-100% work pattern.
