Hitachi Energy is a global company that specials in energy solutions. The Global Finance Trainee role is designed to help recent graduates apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. The program consists of three six-month assignments, with the second being international, and aims to secure a permanent position within the company. The first assignment will be in Switzerland, with the international rotation potentially taking place anywhere in the world. The main responsibilities of the Global Finance Trainee include working within the Finance department on various tasks and projects. This involves delivering value to teams such as Accounting, Finance, Operations Control, and Project Control. The trainee will also support the delivery of the company's Finance Direction and Business Strategy. Collaboration with global teams within the Finance community is essential, as is the completion of a personal project during each rotation to contribute to Hitachi Energy's business strategy. Additionally, the trainee will participate in training and development activities to improve technical skills and understand the daily processes and goals of each department. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline, with studies completed before the program start date. Proficiency in written and spoken English and German is required. Up to 18 months of professional work experience by the start date of 1 April 2027 is also necessary. International mobility is a must, with relocation assistance provided. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, along with a positive attitude and an innovative mindset, are essential. Nice-to-have skills include a drive to learn new skills and openness to receiving and providing feedback. The location is Baden, Aargau, Switzerland, and the program starts on 1 April 2027.
