Quality Manufacturing Manager

A Swiss‑based client is looking for a seasoned Quality Manufacturing Manager to steer quality, compliance and continual improvement within its wafer‑fabrication facilities. The position reports directly to the Vice President of IC Operations and is tasked with upholding IATF 16949, automotive standards and specific customer expectations while protecting the supply chain. The daily work involves supervising quality programs across the front‑end IC production line, fostering a culture that targets defect‑free output and safeguarding process changes from harming yield or generating scrap. The manager will direct non‑conformance handling and material review board activities, ensuring swift risk evaluation, containment, disposition and root‑cause removal. Additional duties include conducting manufacturing audits, driving corrective‑action plans, managing client complaints from containment through prevention, and leading multidisciplinary groups to resolve quality challenges and boost overall performance. Candidates must bring more than a decade of experience in high‑technology manufacturing, with at least five years dedicated to quality leadership. A solid grasp of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and automotive core tools is essential, as is familiarity with IC production methods, quality instruments, process development, failure analysis and audit procedures. The role requires a Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean background, proven abilities in leadership, project coordination, problem solving and continuous improvement, and an engineering degree in electronics, microelectronics, physics or a related discipline.
