The main day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing Digital Finance at Barry Callebaut, focusing on areas such as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Factory Controlling, and Product Costing. The role involves directly reporting to the VP Digital Enabling, aligning with the overall digital strategy, and leading the Digital Finance team. This includes developing, deploying, and managing finance-related digital products and innovations, as well as acting as a trusted business partner to ensure high user satisfaction with digital finance solutions. Additionally, the role requires engaging with business leaders to identify opportunities for digital enhancements and championing the integration of data-centric technologies. To excel in this role, candidates must have a graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a comparable field. Experience in leading Finance and Digital Teams, with a strong background in Factory Controlling, Product Costing, and FP&A, is essential. Proficiency in English is required, along with experience in setting up and leading digital product units and strategy. A deep understanding of finance from both business and digital perspectives, including related digital trends, is crucial. Expertise in finance technologies such as ERP, consolidation, or cash flow management systems is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda. Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale is highly valued.
