The main day-to-day responsibilities include conducting hands-on cell culture experiments to develop and validate new applications and features for SW1NGO. The role also involves working directly with customers on installation, training, process implementation, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the scientist will bring scientific expertise into customer and sales discussions, turn customer needs into product improvements, and create scientific content such as training materials and publications. Staying updated with the latest bioprocessing technologies and best practices is also a key part of the job. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in cell culture is required, with experience with bioreactors being a plus. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of French and German is a plus. A valid driver's license is required, and access to a car is a plus. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within Europe and the USA. Nice-to-have skills include experience with GMP/GLP environments.
