The Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs & Evidence Generation, empasiprubart (MMN) role at argenx involves leading medical strategies for a new treatment in multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN). The main day-to-day responsibilities include leading global medical launch-readiness workstreams, translating evidence gaps into a global evidence strategy, and overseeing evidence-generation initiatives. The role involves collaborating with various teams, including Clinical Development, RWE, and HEOR, to ensure that scientific and stakeholder insights are effectively translated into actions that benefit patients. Additionally, the Senior Director will build partnerships with healthcare and patient organizations to co-create evidence and education strategies. To qualify for this role, candidates must have an advanced degree such as an M.D., Ph.D., or PharmD, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs or related fields. Experience in the neuromuscular/immunology space and a strong understanding of drug development are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to lead through influence and resolve cross-functional trade-offs. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to seek diverse perspectives and synthesize insights from various sources.
