The Associate Director Market Access Shockwave at Johnson & Johnson is a pivotal role focused on driving the successful market entry and reimbursement of Circulatory Restorations' technologies across the International region. The primary responsibilities of this role involve leading the development and execution of market access strategies. This includes assessing market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and barriers. The role also involves partnering with various stakeholders, such as commercial leadership, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and finance teams, to shape pricing strategies, contracting approaches, and reimbursement models. Additionally, the Associate Director will conduct pricing analyses, value assessments, and financial forecasting to support optimal market positioning. They will also identify and prioritize new market entry and growth opportunities, translating access insights into actionable commercial expansion plans. Supporting business development activities with local partners and distributors, overseeing reimbursement submissions, and leading high-impact value conversations with key decision-makers are also key responsibilities. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, providing expert insights on reimbursement and health policy developments, and adapting strategies to overcome barriers to patient access. To excel in this role, candidates must have a strong background in market access, reimbursement, or health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience. Preference is given to those with experience in the medical devices sector, particularly in cardiovascular areas. Proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages being desirable depending on the key International markets. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of payer and reimbursement systems, policy development processes, and health economics and outcomes research. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with regulatory guidelines are also required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with health economics outcomes tools, such as Markov modeling and decision tree analysis, as well as skills in evidence review and presentation of literature.
