Process Engineer Manager

As a Process Engineer Manager you will head the process engineering group and the IGLENs, ensuring that every project phase meets contractual obligations and the company’s strategic goals. In this position you will oversee the Process Work Package, guaranteeing that deliverables are produced on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Daily duties include planning and allocating engineering resources, running weekly progress meetings, and managing workload distribution while using tools like COMOS. You will act as the communication hub between the process team and other project stakeholders, solving technical and organisational challenges as they arise. Preparing and handing over process documentation, operation manuals, CE conformity files and B2 paperwork is also part of the role, as is leading commissioning activities such as multidisciplinary meetings, process reviews, trial‑run readiness checks and Fit‑for‑Performance assessments. Continuous improvement is encouraged through lessons learned, knowledge sharing and the training of internal staff. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline and has demonstrable experience leading process engineering teams. A solid background in plant engineering, construction and commissioning—preferably within the energy sector—is required, together with proven project‑management capabilities and a strong sense of cost and budget control. Proficiency with COMOS, CAPRI and the Microsoft Office suite is essential, as are strong analytical, problem‑solving and standard‑development skills. Excellent communication, presentation, coaching and stakeholder‑management abilities in English are mandatory, and a comprehensive grasp of process‑engineering workflows and plant‑process deliverables across the project lifecycle is expected.
