Senior Specialist - Finance Process Excellence

The Senior Specialist – Finance Process Excellence will join On’s Finance Operations Excellence (FOX) team, a group tasked with redesigning the core financial processes that support the company’s rapid global expansion. Reporting to the Head of Finance Automation & Enablement, the role focuses on making finance work more efficiently at scale across the organization’s worldwide operations. Each day you will map current and future workflows for areas such as Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Treasury, Tax and Master Data, then lead stakeholder workshops to surface pain points and improvement opportunities. You will apply Lean and continuous‑improvement techniques, conduct root‑cause analysis, and build a pipeline of initiatives that are measured, reported and tracked for realized business benefits. Supporting the rollout of approved changes and monitoring their impact will also be key parts of the job. The position requires proven experience improving end‑to‑end finance processes in a complex global setting, preferably within retail, and deep knowledge of finance operations including R2R, P2P, O2C, Tax and FP&A. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and process‑improvement skills, expertise in process mapping, Lean or similar methodologies, and the ability to turn insights into practical solutions. Effective stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing abilities are essential, as is experience with ERP systems—ideally D365 FO—and tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Miro, workflow builders, AI agents or process‑mining software.
