IT Security Engineer - Cloud and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) (80-100%)

Lombard Odier, a globally recognised wealth and asset manager with a focus on sustainable investing, is looking for an IT Security Engineer specialised in Cloud and Data Loss Prevention. The firm, which manages close to CHF 300 billion and operates from more than 25 offices across four continents, seeks a professional to help protect its digital environment while supporting its “Rethink Everything” philosophy. In this role you will design, deploy and maintain a range of security solutions, from DLP and vulnerability management to privileged‑access and endpoint protection. Daily tasks include analysing threats, handling support tickets, contributing to security projects, reviewing alerts and incidents, and automating recurring workflows. You will also produce detailed documentation, advise on secure coding practices, and train colleagues on security best practices. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, security engineering or a comparable discipline, with a master’s degree considered advantageous. Proven experience with DLP technologies and a solid grasp of Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud services are essential. Candidates must be proficient in automation, scripting and Infrastructure‑as‑Code, understand networking protocols, and demonstrate strong analytical and autonomous problem‑solving abilities. Excellent written and spoken English and French, together with the willingness to live in Switzerland or relocate, are also mandatory. A background in secure engineering, threat modelling and continuous learning is valued, as is the ability to adapt across varied technical settings.
