KPMG is looking for a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager who will expand the firm's advisory strength around Microsoft Dynamics ERP, with a sharp focus on finance. As part of a global professional services network, KPMG helps organisations tackle transformation, ESG challenges and a wide range of audit and advisory projects. The role sits in the Zurich office and is a full‑time position. On a daily basis the consultant will guide clients in improving their financial operations, reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. Typical tasks include analysing and refining end‑to‑end finance cycles such as record‑to‑report, procure‑to‑pay, demand‑to‑cash, fixed‑asset and project accounting. The person will craft finance‑oriented solution concepts, outline target operating models and produce practical road‑maps for transformation. Collaboration is essential: the role works closely with client finance teams, internal colleagues and KPMG's international network to exchange expertise, support bid proposals, deliver demos and mentor junior staff in an inclusive manner. The position requires a solid academic background and hands‑on technical experience. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business informatics or a comparable discipline. They must have three to five years of direct involvement in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementation projects, especially on the finance side. A thorough understanding of finance processes, internal controls and reporting standards is essential, together with the ability to translate business requirements into precise ERP specifications. Experience across solution design, testing, data migration, cut‑over and change‑management activities in complex transformation programmes is also demanded. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and possession of the MB‑310 certification are required, as is fluency in both English and German. Additional assets that would strengthen an application include familiarity with the Power Platform, Copilot or other integration tools, and a working knowledge of French. The role benefits from KPMG's commitment to continuous learning, offering personalised training, mentoring schemes and a flexible hybrid working model. Employees enjoy a supportive environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as practical perks such as mobile‑phone subsidies, travel‑card support, generous parental leave and the possibility to work abroad for up to ten days per year. The Zurich location provides a vibrant professional setting within a globally recognised firm. What the role asks for: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field - 3‑5 years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation experience - Strong knowledge of finance processes, controls and reporting - Ability to convert business needs into ERP requirements - Experience in solution design, testing, data migration and cut‑over - Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (MB‑310 certified) - Proficient in English and German - Power Platform or Copilot integration experience (nice‑to‑have) - French language proficiency (nice‑to‑have)
