Head Trader eFX Spot – Associate-Director

Swissquote, Switzerland’s leading digital bank with more than 1,400 employees across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, is looking for an Associate‑Director to head its eFX Spot team. The role sits in the FX & DA Trading division and reports to the Head Spot Vice‑Director, overseeing both operational performance and people management. Day‑to‑day duties include guiding the eFX Spot traders, cultivating a collaborative atmosphere, handling recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews, and resolving any team conflicts through senior management or HR. The incumbent will own realised risk and PnL, ensure compliant trade execution, monitor orders, market conditions and news flow, fine‑tune pricing and risk‑management systems, and maintain strong relationships with hedging counterparties. Data‑driven analysis, documentation of procedures, and acting as a liaison for sales, engineering and IT teams are also key, as is contributing to product and infrastructure projects and managing the team’s capacity.
