SIS Swiss International School is a network of private day schools offering bilingual education from kindergarten to college. The schools provide immersive education in both the local language and English, with around 5,000 students across 20 locations in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Italy, and Spain. The Educational Quality Management role is a dynamic position that combines responsibilities in educational quality, pedagogical and leadership development, and curriculum design and implementation. The role supports both country-level priorities and Group-wide initiatives to enhance educational quality for students from kindergarten through to college. The main day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary educational quality partner for assigned countries, supporting leadership with the implementation of the SIS bilingual educational concept, quality standards, and pedagogical development. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and participating in school evaluations, monitoring the implementation of Group quality initiatives, and supporting the development, implementation, and review of curricula. The position also includes designing and facilitating professional learning for teachers and school leaders, and supporting the onboarding and development of new school leaders. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the Chief Quality Officer with educational innovation projects and strategic initiatives. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a university degree in teaching, pedagogy, or a closely related educational field. They should have experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, and/or school improvement, as well as significant teaching experience in kindergarten, primary, and/or secondary education. Experience using evidence to inform pedagogical improvement and leading or supporting curriculum implementation and professional learning is also required. Fluency in either English or German, with a good command of the other language, is essential. Nice-to-have skills include knowledge and understanding of bilingual education or multilingual learning environments, experience supporting educational change and improvement, and experience working within an international school group or multi-school organisation. Additional language skills, particularly in Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese, are also beneficial. The position is based in Männedorf, Zürich, with flexible working arrangements available. International travel is a requirement for this role.
