The Business Information Risk Officer will join a Swiss private bank on a six‑to‑nine‑month contract, supporting senior leaders in Information Security, IT, Operations and other control areas to reinforce the institution’s operational resilience and risk framework. The role sits within the Chief Security Office and acts as a first‑line defender, helping the CSO keep the bank’s governance, policies and services aligned with internal appetite and Swiss regulator expectations. Each day involves spotting, evaluating and tracking non‑financial risks across functions such as IT, Operations, Central File, Client Reception and Procurement. The officer will keep risk and control assessments up to date, maintain key risk indicators, and refresh Business Impact Analyses for critical processes. Responsibilities also include assisting with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing, running access‑recertification campaigns, reviewing change‑related risks with IT and Cyber Security, and monitoring third‑party and outsourcing exposures. In addition, the person serves as the main liaison for internal and external auditors, coordinating audit planning, evidence gathering and response management while aligning with second‑line risk control. Candidates must bring five to seven years of experience in operational, IT or business risk, with at least two years in financial services or IT audit. Proven ability to conduct BIA interviews, sustain continuity plans, and apply FINMA, LPD, BCM/DR and outsourcing standards is required. A solid grasp of IT, information‑security and ITIL concepts, plus hands‑on experience in access management and segregation of duties, is essential. Strong analytical skills, the capacity to challenge audit findings, and project‑change management exposure are expected, together with fluent written French and English. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management or a comparable field and a current certification such as CISSP, CISA or CISM are highly valued.
