J.P. Morgan's Private Banking division is looking for an Executive Director to join its Qatar/Kuwait client team. The firm, a worldwide leader in financial services, offers strategic advice and a broad suite of products to corporations, governments, affluent individuals and institutional investors. This position will sit within a multicultural, high‑performing group that collaborates across markets and functions to deliver comprehensive wealth‑management solutions. The day‑to‑day work revolves around expanding the client base and safeguarding existing relationships. You will guide customers on the full spectrum of their balance sheet, covering asset allocation, investment oversight, wealth planning, credit facilities and banking services. Coordination with internal specialists is required to bring interdisciplinary expertise to each case, while a holistic, goal‑oriented planning approach ensures solutions meet short‑, medium‑ and long‑term objectives. Teamwork with fellow advisors is essential to maximise collective performance and meet shared targets, all while adhering strictly to risk, compliance and security standards. The role demands deep experience in private banking with ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals from Qatar or Kuwait, including family‑owned enterprises, entrepreneurs, senior executives, single‑family offices or endowments. Proven business‑development skills, profiling, negotiation and proactive referral generation, are required. Candidates must communicate clearly, deliver compelling presentations and exhibit strong organisational discipline. A solid grasp of investment, banking and trust concepts is essential, encompassing structured and managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan products, basic trust and estate tools, and the identification of wealth‑planning opportunities. An established professional network and solid reputation in the region are also mandatory. Fluency in Arabic, experience with multi‑asset‑class allocation or sales, and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation are regarded as advantageous.
