Senior Quality Associate – Global Pathogen Safety

CSL Behring, a worldwide biotechnology firm that creates and produces treatments for serious and rare illnesses, is expanding its Global Pathogen Safety team at the Bern location. The vacancy is for a Senior Quality Associate who will act as the quality‑assurance bridge between laboratory work and regulatory expectations. In this position the incumbent will supervise quality matters for the pathogen‑safety labs, guaranteeing that all activities meet GLP, GCLP/ISO 17025 and CSL’s internal research‑lab standards. Duties include drafting and refining quality procedures, checking study designs and final reports for compliance, organizing and carrying out facility and document inspections, and reporting findings to managers and investigators. The role also supports preparation for external audits, assists with internal audit cycles, drives corrective‑preventive actions, and advises laboratory groups on quality systems. Additional responsibilities cover ensuring biosecurity and biosafety practices align with global and local rules and collaborating with peers across CSL’s international laboratory network.
