The role of Senior Process Consultant - Bioprocessing & Biomanufacturing involves working with the Manufacturing Science & Technology team to advise customers on biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The main day-to-day responsibilities include advising customers across the full biopharmaceutical manufacturing lifecycle, from upstream production to final fill and finish. The role also includes shaping technical strategies to improve process performance, reduce risks, and support reliable manufacturing. Additionally, the consultant will build relationships with technical experts and stakeholders, and share expertise through seminars, training programs, and industry conferences. Regular travel across the EMEA region is required for customer engagements and internal collaboration. To qualify for this role, candidates must have over 10 years of experience in senior technical roles within biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with around 15 years being ideal. A B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field is required. Deep expertise in upstream and downstream processing, single-use technologies, and process development is essential. Candidates should also have a strong scientific and engineering foundation, along with practical knowledge of facility design and biopharmaceutical scaling. Nice-to-have skills include experience using process modelling tools such as SuperPro Designer, BioSolve, or comparable software.
