The role involves shaping experiments: selecting expression constructs, choosing controls and picking assays that will answer the hypothesis. After runs are completed, the scientist reviews binding, expression and stability data (e.g., SPR, BLI, nanoDSF), extracts insights and translates them into the next round of designs, thereby closing the iterative loop. Ongoing feedback is fed back to Adaptyv's product, science and platform teams to improve the overall service. The role requires a solid background in protein science, demonstrated by a degree or hands‑on experience in protein design, computational biology, biochemistry, structural biology or a closely related discipline. Candidates must be fluent in modern protein‑design approaches and able to recommend the most suitable models for a given problem. Proficiency in data‑driven analysis is essential; the scientist should be comfortable working with Python notebooks, applying basic statistics and drawing clear conclusions from noisy experimental results.
