Relationship Manager - Romandie

Vontobel Asset Management, a Swiss‑based institution with more than CHF 25 billion under management, is looking for a Relationship Manager to join its Geneva office and help expand its institutional client base in the Romandie region. The role sits alongside the Region Head and focuses on both servicing existing relationships and acquiring new business for one of the firm’s largest client segments. Each day you will run a disciplined sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals, while maintaining a robust pipeline. You will deepen current client ties, originate fresh opportunities, and become an expert on Vontobel’s investment solutions and market demands. The position also involves steering RFP and tender processes, collaborating with support teams to craft optimal client proposals, and continuously refining internal workflows. Additionally, you will help plan regional roadshows and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings at least four years of proven institutional sales experience, a university degree in business, economics, finance or a related discipline, and an established network among Romandie‑based institutional investors. You must be comfortable handling high‑pressure situations, work both autonomously and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset. Broad knowledge of investment products, excellent communication and presentation abilities, native‑level French, fluent English, and a high degree of personal integrity are required.
