Quality Manager Global Accounts

The Quality Manager Global Accounts role involves serving as the primary contact for a major global customer on all quality-related matters. The company specializes in high-tech components, particularly in the semiconductor industry. This role is crucial for driving customer satisfaction and maintaining a zero-defect quality culture. The main day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coordinating the Global Account/Product Quality Engineers. The role also involves managing quality escalations, ensuring product quality in the market, and defining annual customer-specific quality objectives. Additionally, the Quality Manager will own the Quality section of the customer scorecard, monitor quality KPIs, and lead the standardization of product quality processes. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and cross-functional stakeholders globally, as well as leading or supporting customer visits and audits. To excel in this role, candidates must have at least five years of experience in quality management with direct customer interaction. Experience in quality processes for high-tech components within a global market is essential, as is knowledge of quality management methodologies and tools. Relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, including processes like Copy Exact, is also required. Candidates should have a strong background in audit management, complaint management, project management, product development, and change management. Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards and requirements, along with an auditor qualification or relevant auditing experience, is necessary. Nice-to-have skills include a technical education or degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering. The role is based in Haag, St. Gallen, CH, and requires strong escalation, conflict management, moderation, presentation, and communication skills. The ability to work effectively within international teams and a global matrix organization is crucial. A systematic, methodical, and solution-oriented approach, along with the ability to hold stakeholders accountable, is also important. Very good knowledge of VAT products, their functionality, and areas of application is required.
