Cloud Infrastructure Consultant - OpenShift, Switzerland (m/f/d

Red Hat, a global leader in enterprise open source solutions, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join their team in Switzerland. The role involves working as a subject matter expert in Red Hat's infrastructure and cloud technologies, focusing on delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable solutions. The consultant will implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms and address various technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs for customers. The main responsibilities include implementing cloud solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns such as networking, storage, virtualization, security, and high availability. The consultant will also serve as a subject matter expert on-site, adapting to changing customer requirements and managing the deployment of complex open source solutions. This role involves responding to incidents, escalations, and exceptions, as well as delivering quality results both on-site and post-engagement, including project journals, status reports, and other documentation. To excel in this role, candidates must have prior experience in a consulting role and excellent customer-facing skills. They should possess a strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies and experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting. Familiarity with Red Hat's infrastructure solutions, such as Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Ansible Automation Platform, is essential. Additionally, candidates should have experience onboarding applications and application teams onto cloud or container platforms, introducing DevOps, continuous delivery (CD), and application lifecycle management. Nice-to-have skills include a willingness to travel across the region and excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English. Red Hat Certifications are considered a plus.
