Bramble Ski by Le Collectionist curates high‑end alpine holidays, offering exclusive chalets in top ski destinations such as the French Alps, Switzerland and Austria. The company blends spectacular properties with highly personalised services, creating seamless, tailor‑made experiences for families and groups. As a Bramble Ski Chalet Chef you will be at the core of this luxury offering, responsible for delivering restaurant‑quality cuisine inside private mountain chalets. Your everyday duties involve handling all chef responsibilities to consistently meet and surpass guest expectations. You will prepare breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and refined evening meals, and on occasion provide lunches or late‑night snacks when approved. Working closely with the Chalet Manager, you will help shape a flawless guest journey, from menu creation to service delivery, ensuring every plate reflects the style of a premium ski retreat. Menu planning and food preparation are central to the role. You will design seasonal menus in consultation with guests, manage the full preparation process, from sourcing ingredients to cooking and plating, and guarantee that all dietary preferences, allergen restrictions and special requests are respected. In addition, you will oversee ordering and shopping through approved suppliers, maintain professional supplier relationships, and be present to receive and organise all deliveries. Beyond the kitchen, you will keep the workspace immaculate, adhering to strict hygiene and food‑safety protocols, and you will manage the chalet's food budget, perform regular stocktakes and handle inventory with precision. You will also support property operations by assisting with chalet turnover, greeting arrivals and departures, and performing basic maintenance tasks when needed. Full compliance with health and safety legislation, never serving known allergens, and immediate reporting of any issues are mandatory, as is participation in staff briefings and local dispute resolution. The contract runs from 27 November 2026 to 24 April 2027, with a 43.5‑hour weekly schedule in Zermatt. You will join a dedicated local team that values genuine hospitality, meticulous service and the creation of unforgettable mountain moments. What the role asks for: - 43.5‑hour weekly contract (full‑time) - Prepare breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and elegant evening meals - Plan seasonal menus and adapt to dietary/allergen needs - Order and shop using approved suppliers; no private discounts - Maintain kitchen cleanliness and strict food‑safety standards - Manage chalet food budget and conduct stocktakes accurately - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and never serve known allergens - Attend all staff briefings, meetings and support chalet changeovers
