UBS is seeking a driven student to join their 2027 Off-cycle Internship Program within the Global Wealth Management (GWM) division, specifically in the GWM EMEA Strategy Execution & Growth Initiatives team. The company is a leading global wealth manager and a top financial institution, offering a range of financial services to ultra-high and high-net-worth individuals and families. The intern will work on strategic projects and key initiatives, collaborating with various teams to enhance client experiences and support the growth of GWM EMEA. This role involves engaging with professionals across different departments, from front units to functions like finance, sales, marketing, and business risk. The intern will also gain insights into the wealthiest families and individuals in EMEA, attending educational events led by senior leaders to deepen their understanding of the business. The intern will be based in Zürich, working with a team that supports senior business leadership in developing business priorities and executing strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with business representatives in Switzerland and across GWM EMEA, providing first-hand exposure to how strategic initiatives are implemented. The ideal candidate will have completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated within the last twelve months. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with excellent English language proficiency, are essential. The candidate should be a team player with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a high-demand environment with tight deadlines. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, with an openness to using new tools, including AI, to enhance efficiency. Nice-to-have skills include fluency in additional languages and a background in organizing events or participating in team sports. The internship program offers a paid position lasting 3-6 months, with the potential for a future offer to return for the Graduate Talent Program upon completion of studies. The role is based in Zürich, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
