Solution Consultant

The Solution Consultant role at Workiva supports the pre‑sales process for the company's AI‑powered platform that unifies finance, risk and sustainability. Workiva delivers a secure, cloud‑based solution that helps large organisations gain confidence in their data, manage regulatory requirements and make faster, more informed decisions. In this position you will run the pre‑sales framework, engaging customers, prospects and partners through phone, web or onsite meetings. You will drive discovery sessions, pinpoint where Workiva's capabilities match client needs, and create example solutions, prototypes and proofs of concept. You will also collaborate with Client Services, Product Marketing, Scoping and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, build business cases, and support sales in developing account plans. The core requirements are an undergraduate degree (or equivalent education‑experience mix) and at least four years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, software development, technical sales or a closely related field. The role also expects you to be ready to travel up to 30 % for team and corporate meetings and to have reliable internet access for remote work under Workiva's flexible‑work policy. Preferred qualifications include fluency in both German and French for high‑level client communications, prior consulting experience at a Big Four or public‑accounting firm, and hands‑on technical work with SaaS, cloud technologies and related architectures. Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A or analytics and reporting solutions, as well as strong verbal, written and presentation skills, are also valued.
