Director, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

Denali is a biotech company focused on bringing meaningful therapies to patients worldwide. The Director, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will steer Denali's HEOR agenda for markets outside the United States, creating and applying economic and outcomes evidence that supports timely and sustainable patient access. In this role you will shape the global HEOR strategy for non‑US territories and ensure it aligns with market‑access, regulatory and launch plans. You will design and own the core global cost‑effectiveness model, oversee its methodology, validation and documentation, and work with International Market Access to build the global value dossier, systematic literature reviews and indirect treatment comparisons. You will also lead HEOR deliverables for the EU Joint Clinical Assessment, coordinate real‑world evidence studies, from data source selection to publication, and engage early with HTA bodies such as G‑BA/IQWiG, HAS and NICE. Managing external vendors, budgets and contracts, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship and contribute to global HEOR standards. The position requires a graduate degree in health economics, epidemiology, health services research or a comparable public‑health discipline, with a PhD preferred. Candidates need at least ten years of HEOR experience when holding an MSc/MPH, or eight years with a PhD, and a proven track record of leading evidence generation for HTA submissions across multiple European and other international markets. Direct experience with HTA organisations (G‑BA/IQWiG, HAS, NICE, ZIN, CADTH, PBAC) and a solid understanding of the EU HTA Regulation and Joint Clinical Assessment process are essential. Ownership of global cost‑effectiveness models and value dossiers, deep expertise in health‑economic modelling, evidence synthesis, patient‑reported outcomes, statistics and observational study design, as well as strong project‑management skills, including contracting, budgeting and vendor oversight, are mandatory. The ability to influence senior stakeholders across clinical, medical and commercial functions and fluency in business‑level English are also required. Experience in neurology, neurodegeneration, rare disease or orphan indications is considered a plus.
