Senior Consultant / Manager – Corporate Finance (Financial Institutions) - M&A Advisory

The position is a Senior Consultant / Manager role within Deloitte's Corporate Finance M&A Advisory practice, focused on the Financial Institutions sector. The team advises leading Swiss banks and other financial entities on buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, delivering strategic and financial guidance throughout the deal lifecycle. Day‑to‑day duties involve interacting with senior‑level client executives, managing project timelines, and performing detailed financial analysis. You will prepare valuation and operating models, draft transaction memoranda, create client‑facing presentations, and support cross‑border assignments. Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to new‑business generation are also part of the remit. The ideal candidate brings three to six years of experience in the financial services arena, with a proven track record of executing M&A deals in environments such as investment banks, consultancies, corporate development, private equity or other Big 4 firms. You must be capable of working independently under an Engagement Director, producing high‑quality financial models and client communications. Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French or German are required, alongside strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
